Linen care
Linen gets better the more you wear it.
Washing
- Cold wash, inside out, on a gentle cycle or by hand.
- Use a mild detergent. No bleach.
- Wash dark colours like oxblood and indigo separately for the first few washes.
Drying
- Dry in the shade. Strong sun fades hand-dyed colours.
- Hang it while damp and shake it out; most creases will drop.
- Avoid the tumble dryer.
Ironing
- Iron while slightly damp, on a medium-hot setting.
- Or don't: a little crease is part of how linen looks.
Storage
Fold or hang in a dry, airy place. Let pieces dry fully before storing them during rainy season to avoid mildew.
